Compliance is not a department at XYZ Apparel Network; it is a condition of doing business. Every supplier we work with agrees to our Code of Conduct, submits to independent auditing, and participates in the traceability and chemical-management programmes that underpin our brand promises.
Supplier Code of Conduct
Our Code of Conduct sets minimum standards for labour, health and safety, environmental performance and business ethics. It prohibits forced labour, child labour and harassment, requires lawful wages and working hours, and requires suppliers to provide a safe and healthy workplace.
- No forced, bonded or child labour.
- Freedom of association and lawful working hours.
- Safe and healthy working conditions.
- Compliance with all applicable environmental laws.
- No bribery, corruption or undisclosed subcontracting.
Auditing and assessment
Factories are assessed before production begins and re-audited on a risk-based cycle. Where we identify a non-conformance, suppliers must submit a corrective action plan with a defined timeline. We track remediation to closure and reserve the right to end a relationship where serious issues persist.
Chemicals and materials
We restrict harmful substances through a manufacturing restricted substances list, require test reports for high-risk materials, and work with partners on reduced-impact finishes and recycled or more responsibly sourced fibres.
Traceability
We map our supply chain from finished goods to raw material where possible, and we publish our factory list to the brands and retailers we serve on request. Improved traceability helps us respond faster to risk and make credible claims to consumers.
Report a concern
Workers, suppliers and other stakeholders may raise concerns confidentially by emailing [email protected]. Reports are reviewed promptly and without retaliation.
